Dr Jessica Lee Vice-chair (interim)
Jess is a conservation biologist with para-veterinary experience in bird rescue, rehabilitation and release. She has a penchant for parrots – completing her PhD on black cockatoos in Western Australia. Subsequently, she took on a role as black cockatoo programme coordinator for BirdLife Australia, before moving back to Singapore. She currently heads the Avian Species Conservation Programmes and Partnerships at Mandai Nature, with Asian parrots being one of the focal groups. She helps support and facilitate local and regional conservation and research projects, which includes building the network and capacity of conservation partners to maximise impact on the ground. She is currently acting Vice-Chair of the WPaSG’s Asia subgroup.
